Often seen growing in cottage gardens in Ireland, it makes a superb pond plant. It will grow in up to 9 inches of water. The white ‘flowers’ and similar shaped leaves contrast well with the flatness of the water surface. It flowers during the summer, cutting it back hard can induce a second flowering. A must for every pond.
